Cousins Reunion

Eric's side of the family (on his Mom's side) was having a cousins reunion in Pickens, S.C. It was a wonderful time filled with music, good food and meeting family I never knew we had. These were some wonderful people. They had a unique home with a beautiful view of the mountains. The kids loved the horses! I think feeding them may have been a highlight of their day. As we were leaving Sam said I want to come back here real soon, I think I want to live here someday. So we made a deal with Doug if Sam gets into Clemson then he can live here while he goes to college.

Treasure Island

Our first vacation in 4 years and it was to the Beach! I love the ocean and have missed going so much. Thank you Evie for this wonderful gift! Since Josie was a baby the last time she went she didn't remember what the ocean was like. She had a good time, but truthfully she is more of a pool girl as her limit was about 30 minutes before she wanted to go home and shower. Sam is a beach bum for sure and could of stayed all day, playing in the surf. I think one of the highlights of the trip was swimming out to the sandbar and finding sand dollars. It was like digging for buried treasure with our toes and Sam would dive down and dig up the prize.

Cow Appreciation

Sam wasn't exactly happy about dressing like this until he got to Chick-fil-A and every person there looked the same. Josie LOVED it!
