I'm sure you all heard our city was pounded by significant rains. I knew when I was driving to work Monday morning it was bad, but I don't think I knew how bad it was. After all it is just water, right? We did not have any damage or flooding at our house, thank goodness. However, many were not as lucky as we were.
Here are a few pictures of the devastation around the city.
Major roadways were not passable.
With so much flooding roads began to collapse and wash away all over the place.
Mudslides covered the roadways.
This car dealership is only about 15 minutes from our house.
Some people have lost everything. Most of the severe flooding like this home was west or south of the city.
