The case of the missing candy

Josie asks me for 2 chocolate candies, one for her and one for Sam. I give her 2 pieces and send her away to enjoy eating and sharing with her big brother. She comes back minutes later and says somebody stole Sam's piece. I explain to her that sometimes we do things and don't realize we are doing it...like her eating his piece of candy. She says NO, someone stole it. I pointed out to her she had chocolate on her face and both pieces are missing so what does she think could have happened? She smiles. Meanwhile Sam is still waiting for his piece of candy since Josie did tell him she had one for him.
